Hot Summer Wedding Day

It was a hot summer day, and a woman and her fiance were planning their beautiful wedding. The lady's name is Olivia and her fiance’s name is Cole. They live in California. Today, Olivia is going to pick out her wedding dress for their special day. She walked into a room filled with dresses and was amazed at how many dresses there were. She kept on looking and looking. Then, a women who worked there came out.

“Do you need help picking out a wedding dress?” said the women.

“Yes, I do!” replied Olivia.

“Okay, what do you want on your wedding dress? Gems? Flowers? Anything?” asked the women.

Olivia said, “I want it to be very special, meaning whenever I look at it, I imagine I’m in the dress getting married and having an amazing time.”

The women replied, “Okay, then I will help you find the perfect wedding dress.”

They walked and walked around the whole store for over a year.  Finally, Olivia went over to the last section and found the perfect dress for her! She was so excited! Her face lit up when she saw the dress. It was a white dress with tiny little flowers and had thick, white lace straps. On the back, it was open with lace too. Most of the dress had lace on it. Olivia knew that this was the perfect and special dress for her.  It was beyond beautiful and she knew that to.  The flowers were as white as snow. After she tried it on, she took it off and paid for it. It was really expensive, but to her, it was worth it. After paying for it, she left the store. Now that she had a very special dress, she was so excited for her wedding. When she got home, Cole was sitting down and trying to plan things. She wanted to see what he was doing, so she sat down with him. So far, they figured out that their wedding would be held at the Hyatt Regency in California. There will be O’s and C’s all over the room, to stand for Olivia and Cole. The main color of the room will be purple and white. There will also be lavender and white flowers all over the room. Also, there is going to be purple and white decorations and streamers all throughout the room. Olivia and Cole are both beyond excited for their wedding.

When the next week came around, their wedding is only a couple of days away. The only thing that Olivia has to do, is get her dress from the store. So, she went to pick it up when it was ready. The only thing Cole has to do, is get his tux from the store. Olivia went first, because it is bad luck to see the bride’s wedding dress before the actual wedding. After they got their dress and tux, they both went home to finish the last things they need to do.

It has passed almost 5 days, and the wedding is tomorrow. Olivia and Cole are both scared and worried this day will be ruined.

The wedding is today! It is just a few hours away and they are getting very excited. They left their house already with all the things they need, and are on their way to the hotel to get ready. Cole has been talking to his friends almost the whole day, having second thoughts. He has been having second thoughts about marrying Olivia. It was 5 minutes away from the wedding and they were just about to see each other’s outfits. Now, Olivia and her mom were walking down the aisle and everyone stared with amazement, and was so proud of her on this special day. They were now standing under the beautiful chuppah. The chuppah was white with little lavender flowers on it. Now, the man standing in between Olivia and Cole said,

“Do you or do you not accept Cole to be your husband?”

Olivia responded, “I do.”

The man said, “Do you or do you not accept Olivia to be your wife?”

Cole responded, “No, wait Olivia you need to hear me out.”

“What Cole? Why are you doing this now, instead of hours ago when we aren’t standing in front of everyone here? As you can see, I’m very ashamed and upset right now!” said Olivia.

Cole replied, “I have been thinking this for the whole day, I love you, but you are not the one for me that I need to be with for the rest of my life. I wanted to do this now, because I felt like this was the right time to do this.”

“Okay, but you should’ve thought about this and ended it before,” Olivia said.

Cole responded, “Okay, but this isn’t the point. The reason I don’t want to marry you is that, I am really in love with Molly, the first time I met her, I knew we were meant to be, “.”

Olivia replied, “WHAT? STOP, OKAY NOW I’M DONE, DON’T EVEN TALK TO ME ANYMORE COLE!!” Olivia stormed out of the room and started crying as she left the stage. She bumped into everything on the way out and all of the things went CRASH! and BOOM! down and fell.

Olivia is so ashamed and so mad at Cole right now. Then, her mom walked out and went to comfort Olivia. Olivia is hysterically crying and can’t even go back into the room because she is so embarrassed now. The whole time she was up there in the chuppah, she was wondering what her future was ahead of her. She didn’t expect Cole to dump her and get together with her best friend, Molly. She kept on crying and crying to her mom and her mom finally said,

“Olivia honey, it is not worth it. Cole was an amazing man, but you can do way better than him.”

Olivia responded, “Thank you mom, I’m just really upset. I’m so humiliated right now, that I got dumped by my fiance at the actual wedding. Why wasn’t it before? He is so rude that he would do that to me.”

Her mom said, “I know. He is not the brightest man. This is very upsetting, but you need to get over this. There are so many men out there for you. Don’t worry.”

Olivia replied, “Thanks mom, I love you.”

Olivia and her mom then went up into Olivia’s hotel room and took off her wedding dress and then left. Olivia will now have a much better life without Cole in it because he humiliated her at the wedding and was not nice to her.
