My favorite book is Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas. It is the fourth book in the Throne of Glass series. This is my favorite book because of the characters, the plot and the conflict. The characters are very in depth and complex, especially my favorite one, Aelin Ashryver Galathynius. Prior to the third book, Aelin was an assassin called Celaena Sardothien who participated in a death tournament to become the King’s champion. Throughout the book series, you find out about her dark past and what’s affecting the world she lives in. The plot for the book is different compared to others because of the lore of the world and the conflict. The conflict in the book is Aelin trying to stop a tyrannical king from taking over the world. However, she has to also stop a dark god from awakening and destroying the world.
This book seems really cool, the characters look awesome and the death tournament seems cool!
