Wonder

Image
Wonder is the best book ever and everyone should have the chance to read it. The main character, Auggie, was born was a facial deformity and hasn't been able to go to a public school. However, in 5th grade, Auggie started going to Beecher Prep and went through lots of emotional challenges and bullying. Not only was he the new kid, but he looked different from everyone else and was bullied because of his appearance. The reason Wonder is my favorite book is because the author wrote about real-life struggles that Auggie faced, not just about his facial deformity, and it was very moving how Auggie was determined to keep going. In conclusion, Wonder is a very special story and a great book.

Hunger Games Catching Fire

My favorite book of all time is Hunger Games Catching Fire. It is a creative action story that has many plot twists. It is interesting and is fun to read. I love the ending and I think that it is a cool way to end the book. I love how it ended on a cliffhanger. It explained a lot and it was really cool.

Why Copper Sun Is My Favorite Book

Image
Copper Sun is a very insightful and intriguing novel written by Sharon M. Draper. It allows you see through the eyes of a young girl, Amari, whose family is murdered by a group of racist white men and then, she is brought into slavery. You then see her journey including being sold to many different "owners" and being abused by many, many people. This book will give you a whirlwind of emotions. While reading it I laughed, cried and got very frustrated. Before reading this book, a book has never made me cry or feel any emotions as strongly as this one did. I learned so much about what really happens during slavery and how detrimental and important each person’s story is. Once this book is picked up and started, it is nearly impossible to put it down.

This Is Where It Ends is the BEST BOOK EVER!!

Image
One of my favorite books ever is This Is Where It Ends by Marieke Nijkamp. I read this book in two days because I couldn’t put it down. This Is Where It Ends was filled with action and also lots of devastation. This book gives a perception of school shootings and the tragedy people go through. Also, the story is told in 54 grueling minutes of the horror that happens in Opportunity High School. One student named Tyler wants to get revenge on all the people that have hurt him. He locks the students into the auditorium after a speech given by the principal. The students realize at 10:05 that they can’t get out of the auditorium. The next 50 minutes turns into the ultimate game of survival. Everyone should read this book one day!

The Most Life Changing Book: Out Of My Mind

Image
My favorite book is Out Of My Mind. I love the tone and the setting. After my brother was diagnosed with diabetes it really opened another side of the world to me. It showed me that not everything was going to be perfect but that there is a solution to everything. This book goes along with my life. The main character is Melody. Melody has a photographic memory but her diagnosis is a mystery. When Melody goes to school for the first time her whole life is changed. New people, New teachers, and a new building. After adapting, getting bullied and sick of being quiet, she gets a device that allows her to type and have a voice speak for her. She is able to show the world how smart she is and allow others to meet the real Melody. In my brothers case when was diagnosed with diabetes we had to get informed then adapt and work around and find a solution. Everyday is a struggle whether to live or not but as humans we work together and learn more.  This book proves that you can be...

Why I Am Number Four is my Favorite Book.

Image
I Am Number Four is an action-packed adventure in which the author captures our attention into the classic drama of teens’ emotions, friendship, oh yeah, and also the invasion of aliens. It is based on a Loric (good protagonist which is an alien), and his journey and adventure when landing on earth to escape the wrath of Mogadorians (the evil antagonist, which is also an alien). His goal is to end the race of these Mogadorians in hopes of ending the war between them and the Loric. A charm holds him safe until one two and three are killed out of nine, and when they are, he is on the run to survive. Although his goal is to focus on these aliens and his own kind, he gets entangled with romance, friendship, and emotion, and it is extremely exhilarating to see what his next move will be on this invigorating adventure on earth.

Why Harry Potter is a Global Phenomenon With A Cult Following *not clickbait

Image
Harry Potter is one of the most celebrated book series of the century, and has changed the world in many ways. Not only does Harry make readers jealous of his amazing life, but he keeps readers on the edge of their seat with all his adventures. But what sets Harry apart from other characters? And other books? Like, what about the Hunger Games and Divergent? Why aren’t they as much of a world changer? Well, here’s why… Starting with one of the most obvious reasons, Harry’s relatability. While his life is crazy and could never really happen in real life, his actions are similar to what you would do in that situation. Like, even in this magical wizarding world, a lot of the tough questions/decisions he makes are things any teenager of that age would have to go through. Meanwhile, someone like Percy Jackson doesn’t go through these things, as the author tries to leave these little details out, focusing on the action. Next, another reason for it’s success is something a lot of people don’t ...

This is where it ends is my favorite book

Image
My all time favorite book is This is Where it Ends by Marieke Nijkamp. This book is written in four different perspectives of four kids who go to opportunity high school, Claire, Thomas, Sylvia and Autumn. One day during an assembly Tyler comes in and starts shooting. The four teens each have a different relation to Tyler for example Claire is Tyler's ex boyfriend and he is Autumns brother. I enjoyed this story because I liked how it switched point of views so you can see everyone's thoughts. I could not put this book down because it grabbed my attention and the plot was entertaining.

Why is Everything Everything my favorite book?

Image
My favorite book ever is Everything Everything . This is my favorite book because it’s a very interesting and enjoyable book. It is enjoyable because it is about a girl that is sick for her whole life and she can’t go outside, so you can see how she lives her life. It is so interesting to see her inside at all times, with only her doctor and her mom in her house. Also, she meets a boy that is her new neighbor and they fall in love. They talked every night, but he doesn’t know she can’t go outside until he finds out one day. This is such a good part because they bond and meet each other by talking through a window and texting. There also is a movie of this book, and it is almost as good as the book, but it missed a few details. Lastly, I really like this book because it is a way for me to see someone live their life being inside all of her life.

The Best Book is Queen of Shadows

Image
Picture of Aelin and quote from the book. My favorite book is Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas. It is the fourth book in the Throne of Glass series. This is my favorite book because of the characters, the plot and the conflict. The characters are very in depth and complex, especially my favorite one, Aelin Ashryver Galathynius. Prior to the third book, Aelin was an assassin called Celaena Sardothien who participated in a death tournament to become the King’s champion. Throughout the book series, you find out about her dark past and what’s affecting the world she lives in. The plot for the book is different compared to others because of the lore of the world and the conflict. The conflict in the book is Aelin trying to stop a tyrannical king from taking over the world. However, she has to also stop a dark god from awakening and destroying the world.

Everything Everything, the best book

Image
My all time favorite book is Everything Everything, by Nicola Yoon. I really enjoy this book, because it is so interesting to see how the main character, Maddy, deals with her disease which does not allow her to go outside. Throughout the book, you get to follow Maddy’s life as things begin to change for her when she meets a boy next door named, Ollie. As the story progresses, you see how Maddy decides to change her life and experience everything. The best part of the book is the plot twist at the end and everything leading up to it. This book made me want to keep reading and get to the end. I would definitely recommend reading this unique and amazing book.

My Favorite Book: "The Dead" by Charlie Higson

Image
My favorite book is “The Dead” by Charlie Higson. The reason this book is a fantastic novel is because of the multiple genres within the apocalypse the kids in the book experience. The book features horror, because of the many tension building scenes with diseased and zombie like people. The book also displays comedy, because the world is mostly run by immature children, who are unaffected by the disease. The book also has great imagery and describes every scene and scenario flawlessly. Overall, this book has many different genres, and the characters can be easily relatable and sympathizable to many groups of people.

Travel Team

Image
Travel Team, By Mike Lupica My favorite book ever is called Travel Team , by Mike Lupica. It is my favorite book because I play basketball and this is a story about a kid who plays basketball and is smaller than everyone else. His name is Jason and he perseveres through many tryouts, practices, and games. This book inspires many basketball players who are small. Today there is a player named Isaiah Thomas who is very small and he is one of the best players in the game. That is like Jason’s story of perseverance and effort to get through a weakness. In the end, Jason has so many amazing accomplishments in basketball and was one of the best players in their school division. Jason showed his true heart and desire to become what he wanted to become. I love this story because of how Jason was going to work to get good at the game.

Gift of Being Helpful

Image
The Giving Tree is the best book ever. The Giving Tree is my favorite book, and I believe it is well deserved because of the lesson taught by the book. When I was little, my mom read it to me about once a week, and I loved it so much. She also expressed the lesson to me that it is good to help out whenever you can. As the boy grew up in the story, the tree did not have as much stuff to give him. He could not swing on the branches, climb the trunk or have time to take the apples anymore. But, when the boy kept coming back, the tree kept offering things to give him to help him out. My mom really made me feel that being helpful was a key to success in life.

My favorite book ever I FUNNY

Image
My favorite book is I FUNNY . This was a very good book when I was young and it’s one of the few books that I really liked.  It was so interesting to me because I thought it was very funny and interesting how everything in Jamie’s life happened. It’s about how he was bullied and is in a wheelchair and want to become a comedian one day. He goes to these comedian places and he becomes very funny and famous. I love this book so much and I will always remember about this book.

The Best Book Ever is Gregor The Overlander

Image
My favorite book ever is Gregor the Overlander . The reason I love this book is because it is action packed and always makes you want to keep reading. The theme and setting is also really cool with the huge animals and underground place. It is also cool how he gets there through his house. There are also a lot of books in the series so you can keep reading and it keeps getting better and better.
